Not only Kapil-Dhoni-Rohit, but another captain has won the ICC trophy for Team India.

A part from Kapil Dev, MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma, there is one more Indian cricket team captain who won the ICC trophy for India.

By winning the T20 World Cup in 2024, India's drought of winning the ICC trophy has ended. After 13 years, the ICC trophy has come home to India. Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, Team India won the World Cup in the shortest form of cricket (T20).

Kapil Dev gave the first taste of world cup victory in 1983. And then after 24 years MS Dhoni fulfilled that dream again. And this time by winning T20 World Cup, Rohit Sharma has written his name in the same place with Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni.

In 1983, the Indian team won the ODI World Cup for the first time under the leadership of Kapil Dev. And that was India's first ICC trophy win. Kapil Dev's team flew the flag of India's success in the court of the world.

India then won the T20 World Cup in 2007, the second ODI World Cup in 2011 and the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013. All these three trophies were won by Team India under the leadership of MS Dhoni.

But there is one more India captain who led the Indian team to win the ICC trophy. He is none other than the former India captain, the proud of our Bengal and everyone's beloved favorite person's Sourav Ganguly.

In 2002, the ICC Champions Trophy final match between India and Sri Lanka could not be completed in 2 days due to rain. Moreover, India's chances of winning were very high. Both teams were declared joint champions due to rain not playing. Sourav led India to a joint victory.
