England Cricket board secretary Send a letter to Jai Shah to 'save cricket'!
It is England to save especially able cricketers and Jai Shah. BCB Secretary wrote a letter to Jai shah asking him to spare the specially-abled cricketers. He ordered to divide cricket into two divisions to save all these cricketers.
In all aspects, our India is leading the cricket stage in the world. BCCI has the first name in the list of full-time members of the ICC. Since the cricket board is the first in terms of finances, the England and Wales Cricket Board made an appeal. The plea was specifically to save those cricketers who are capable.
At present, differently abled cricket is not administered directly by the BCCI but is administered by the Differently Abled Cricket Council of India or DCCI. Within this organization there is a branch that does not work independently. But it appears that DCCI does not have the same powers as BCCI. This time, the ECB secretary requested the BCCI privately so that the BCCI board comes forward to save the able cricketers.
According to the ECB organization, all the able-bodied cricketers should be divided into two groups, one of which will be for the blind and the other will be for all the other cricketers. There is a big conference held by the ICC where it is known or speculated that there may be a special discussion on this.
Now the thing to see is that what is written in the letter? Richard Gould wrote in the letter that, "We demand formation of two international teams. One for the blind XI and the other for the specially abled. We want to organize the tournament for the specially abled. We are seeking support from the ICC in this regard." Richard Gould sent the letter to Cricket Australia CEO Nick Hockley, PCBCO and Salman Nasir and CSA CEO Filet C and Moseki. He also said that not specifically referring to all able-bodied cricketers, there are no exact rules, that cricket does not get support.
Specially-abled cricketers mainly consist of blind, deaf, intellectually challenged and physically challenged people. These four divisions mentioned are not making any progress in their cricket due to lack of communication between them. Gould said that 1.3 billion people in the world are now specially abled. So if any cricketer is picked up from among them and given service then cricket will grow more. Currently BCCI chief Ravi Chauhan is in very good contact with BCCI.
What is the BCCI's reply to the letter received from the ECB's secretary? Nothing is known about it yet. But what BCCI is doing for the development of women's cricket, they are expected to work on specially abled cricket which is very good news for us.
