Ashish Nehra advised virat and Rohit

Ashish Nehra advised virat and Rohit to work with Gambhir as soon as possible before India vs Sri Lanka series.

We all know that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will take a long break. But then both changed their minds. Before the start of the Sri Lanka series, former India first bowler Ashish Nehra gave Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli this valuable advice that they should mix with Gautam Gambhir as soon as possible.

From the very first day of the Sri Lankan tour, we all can see Gautam Gambhir fulfilling his duties as the head coach. We all know that the three-match T20 series between India and Sri Lanka will be played from July 27 and three ODIs from August 2. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who retired from T20 international cricket, but the will be seen playing the ODI series. It was thought that both players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli would take a long break after winning the T20 World Cup. But that opinion was changed by Nehra's suggestion. Ashish Nehra has made it clear that they should join Gambhir as soon as possible.
In a conversation in sports interview, they said that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli may not play after winning the T20 World Cup, but they are playing the ODI series in Sri Lanka. The sooner the two get along well with new coach Gautam Gambhir, the better. Although you have known each other for many years, it was nice to see you come to play an ODI match. Nehra also said that, 'There are times when one wants to give more opportunities to young players in the series after the World Cup. India has good players, The more time Rohit Sharma and Virat kohli spends with youngers, the better for the young players.

Gautam Gambhir has made it clear that 37-year-old Rohit Sharma and 35-year-old Kohli, if fit, can play for India in the 2027 ODI World Cup. With Sampreeti thinking, Ashish Nehra advises Koli and Sharma to join Gambhir as soon as possible.  He added that, "This thinking is very good. But it will be a challenge for both of them to keep themselves ahead of the younger batsmen as they get older. Clearly, it depends on how passionate and motivated you are but we  I know this is not a problem for Rohit and Virat.  That's how they got them to this stage of their career but age will increase with time and players like Shubman and Sudarshan will push.

Ashish Nehra  says that no cricketer wants to retire but as they get older they accept the limitations of their body. He said "I would have loved to be 18 all my life. I never wanted to retire. If you ask Gautam Gambhir his body  Do you want to play? You will make your way if the young players do well. The idea of playing the ODIs for both of them is great.” It remains to be seen what happens next.  It is now to be seen how much work is being done by accepting Nehra's decision.
