We have seen before and still see that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have been playing together for almost 15 years in the Indian cricket team. But they are not the two cricketers of the Indian team 'Sita' and 'Gita' this is what Virat Kohli said.
Virat Kohli himself said that the two cricketers in the Indian team known as Sita and Geeta are not Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Virat said that even though they have played together for 15 years, they are not called by these two names. But now the question is who are the two named 'Sita' and 'Gita'? Virat Kohli said in an interview that Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan are called 'Sita and Geeta' of the Indian cricket team.
We have seen before and still see that both Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan are of the same age and got the chance to join the Indian cricket team almost at the same time. But even though Shufman Gill has been able to create his own space, Ishaan has not yet been able to do so.
But it appears that he has been dropped from the Indian Cricket Board's annual contract for not playing domestic cricket. In an interview, Virat said, "In the Indian team, Shubman and Ishaan's relationship is like 'Sita and Geeta', they are the only ones who know what's going on between them. They can't leave each other and even go out to eat together. They go everywhere together. They are always together no matter what is being discussed. I have never seen them alone. They are not only friends but very good friends."
We see that Shubman Gill made his debut in the Indian cricket team in 2019 but in that respect Ishan Kishan made his debut in 2021. They have been together in the Indian cricket team for the last two years and since then their friendship is very good. It seems that Ishaan has been dropped from the cricket team a few days ago. Shubman is the captain of Gujarat Titans in IPL. And in 2018 Kolkata Knight Riders debuted. And that's why he went to Gujarat in 2021. On the other hand, we can see that Ishaan has been playing for Mumbai Indians since 2018 and is still in that team.
